Nature Tech

Wednesday, November 20, 2024 | 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Have you ever wanted to create your own projects for a 3D printer?  Learn to use TinkerCAD to create your own designs from natural patterns like seashells, succulents, and flowers.  Then, take your designs to a local 3D printer to bring them to “life”!

Note: There will not be enough time to print the designs at the event. However, participants can bring their designs to local 3D printers, found at most libraries.

Check-in: Please arrive at 5:45 pm for check-in.

Location: Carleton University, Ottawa, ON (specific location details will be sent upon registration).

Ages: This event is for girls and gender-diverse youth ages 11 to 16.

Registration Information: All youth attending must register using the link below. For non-CAGIS members, a guardian is required to stay for the event and must also register below. Participants who are CAGIS members are not required to have a parent/guardian stay for the event.

Registration Deadline: Monday, November 18th.
