Did you know that scientists estimate there are 10 TRILLION proteins in every human cell?! Proteins follow the directions encoded in DNA to carry out basically all biological processes… but how do scientists identify them? They use a technique called Western blots for everything from vaccine development to cancer treatment! Join us and neuroscientist, Ivana, as we create a model Western blot to solve an (imaginary) biological mystery, just like researchers do in real life!
