Have you ever heard of a nanosatellite? Do you want to hold a REAL satellite in your own two hands? Join us to explore how nanosatellites, called CubeSats, capture images, conduct experiments, and collect data through on-board computers and gyroscopes. Then, try programming the satellite yourself (no coding experience required)! It will be a galactic good time!
Check-in: Please arrive at 10:40 am for check-in.
Location: Mount Saint Vincent University, Halifax, Nova Scotia (specific location details will be sent upon registration).
Ages: This event is for girls and gender-diverse youth ages 7 to 16.
Registration Information: All youth attending must register using the link below. For non-CAGIS members, a guardian is required to stay for the event and must also register below. Participants who are CAGIS members are not required to have a parent/guardian stay for the event.
