Meet the Expert

Suhangi and Dr. Rutvi Brahmbhatt

Toronto-based sisters, Rutvi and Suhangi Brahmbhatt, have been on parallel journeys in medicine from the very beginning. They both completed their Bachelor of Health Sciences at McMaster University before continuing their medical training along different paths.

Dr. Rutvi Brahmbhatt earned her medical degree from Western University in London, Ontario, and is currently a second-year Family Medicine resident at the University of Toronto.

Suhangi recently completed her second year of medical school at the University of Toronto.

Together, they are the creators behind @thebrahmbhatts, where they share an authentic look at medicine alongside travel, wellness, productivity, and everyday life. Passionate about mentorship, representation, and medical education, they strive to make medicine feel more accessible while encouraging others to pursue ambitious careers without losing sight of the people, passions, and experiences that make life meaningful. Through honest storytelling, they hope to show that success in medicine doesn’t require sacrificing the things you love; it is possible to build a fulfilling life both inside and outside the hospital.

This programming was developed by Suhangvi and Dr. Rutvi Brahmbhatt, and Sydney Brooks
