Step into the world of 3D creation with our workshop specially designed for beginners. In this crash course workshop, discover the magic of 3D Modelling using Blender, an open-source 3D modelling program where creativity meets technology. Our interactive format encourages hands-on practice where participants will learn basic modelling and meshing tools to create two simple characters – a snowman and a dinosaur.
Check-in: Check-in is at 10:00 am. Please arrive promptly to ensure the event starts on time.
Location: South Granville, Vancouver, BC (Register to receive exact meeting location details)
Ages: This event is for girls and gender-diverse youth ages 7 to 16. This event will be divided into two groups (7-11 year olds and 12-16 year olds). The activity will be slightly modified for each group. You may choose to register siblings in the same group, even if they fall into different age categories.
Registration Information: All youth attending must register using the link below. For non-CAGIS members, a guardian is required to stay for the event and must also register below. Participants who are CAGIS members are not required to have a parent/guardian stay for the event.
