Time
Ages 7-12: 8 am PT • 9 am MT • 10 am CT • 11 am ET • 12 pm AT
Ages 13-17: 10 am PT • 11 am MT • 12 pm CT • 1 pm ET • 2 pm AT
Materials and Preparation
- 12 popsicle sticks
- Hot glue gun and glue sticks (recommended) OR craft glue OR duct tape
- Tape
- Scissors
- ~100 cm string
- Five marbles (marbles are recommended, but ping pong balls will work)
- Ruler

Becca Barbera
Becca is a fourth-year Engineering Physics student at McMaster University, minoring in Medical and Biological Physics. Becca’s interests span across a range of STEM fields, with a strong focus on both nuclear and biomedical engineering. As a former CAGIS Teen Ambassador and active volunteer, she is committed to empowering girls and gender-diverse youth to discover their passion for STEM.
