Time
Ages 7-11: 8 am PT • 9 am MT • 10 am CT • 11 am ET • 12 pm AT
Ages 11-17: 10 am PT • 11 am MT • 12 pm CT • 1 pm ET • 2 pm AT
Materials and Preparation
- 1x piece of white card stock A4 paper (a piece of thin cardboard like a front or back of a cereal box or a regular piece of A4 paper is ok too)
- Hole punch
- Ruler
- Pencil
- Aluminum foil
- 4x medium paper clips (metal, not coated)
- 1x D battery (C battery or two AA (double A) batteries will also work – these can be found at Dollarama, Walmart, or Canadian Tire)
- Electrical tape (this can be found at Dollarama, Walmart, or Canadian Tire)
- Scissors
- 2x small holiday light bulbs (Holiday lights work the best as the plastic can be removed easily to reveal the tiny wires needed to complete a circuit – strands of holiday lights can be found at Dollarama in their Christmas/Halloween decorations aisle for between $3-5/strand. Strand normally comes with 2 spare bulbs, which would be the ones to use for the activity. Be sure they are a version of the couple options shown below – not the rounded LED variety or fairy light variety.)
