Want to know an engineering secret? In this session, we will discover how to build super sturdy structures without any glue! Learn what makes bridges, rooftops, and towers so strong as we explore the science of stability and test out structures of our own!

Materials and Preparation
You will need the following materials:
- Toothpicks
- A bag of mini marshmallows (or something else that is small and sticky, like sticky tack)
- A flat piece of paper or cardstock
- Scissors

Olivia Cirone is a mechanical and biomedical engineering student at McMaster University. She works with the McMaster Women in Engineering Society, an organization that promotes, supports, and uplifts women and young girls in the field of engineering.
