CAGIS programs are back for a new season with an exciting lineup of IN-PERSON and ONLINE STEM experiences! Read on for a sneak peek.
CAGIS Chapters (in-person)
CAGIS Chapters are back to their monthly adventures to explore STEM with experts at COOL STEM locations!
CAGIS Kitchener-Waterloo is headed to an Engineering Lab at the University of Waterloo to examine the Midnight Sun Solar Car Team’s newest full-scale solar car, and build model solar cars to race and take home! CAGIS London is headed to Western University’s Music and Neuroscience Lab to explore how music affects the brain and behaviour; discover how dance can be used therapeutically for neurodegenerative disorders, and test the effects of music on the brain with experiments!
Other CAGIS Chapters have exciting events planned, including making bioplastics with CAGIS Calgary, exploring the soil and nutrient cycle with CAGIS Victoria, bioinformatics with CAGIS Mississauga, and 3D modelling with CAGIS Vancouver!

CAGIS Virtual (online)
CAGIS Virtual is back with its weekly, live, hands-on STEM sessions for kids and teens, led by STEM experts!
Participate in fun, hands-on activities with supplies you can find at home! Make your own bouncy ball with a chemist, build a light-up quiz board with an electrical engineer, build a mini rain garden and experiment with flooding, with an ecologist. No matter what your STEM interests are, CAGIS Virtual will have something for you.
