Planets and stars in space

Thursday, October 5, 2023 | 6:00 – 8:00 pm

Come celebrate World Space Week with us and our friends from Virtual Ventures! We have two exciting coding events planned for different age groups.

Ages 7 – 11: Let’s Build a Solar System Using Coding Blocks

Come learn about the planets in our Solar System and build your own Solar System using coding blocks. This activity will give you a chance to learn more about the engineering and coding world!

Ages 11 – 16: Let’s Build and Code a Mars Rover

Participants will get hands-on by building a Mars rover with LEGO and coding it! This activity will give you a chance to learn more about the engineering and coding world!

Please note the age ranges listed for these events are guidelines. If siblings in different age groups are interested in attending, you may choose to register them too, even if they do not fall within the recommended age range for the session.

This event is for girls and gender-diverse youth.
