Lunar Rover Lander Engineering Challenge

Canada is headed to the Moon!

The Canadian Space Agency will be launching a lunar rover in the next five years.  But how will the rover land safely on the Moon?  Test your engineering skills with this STEM Challenge!

Your challenge: to build a lunar lander that will safely land with its contents (a raw egg, soft molding clay, or other similar material) intact.  The lunar lander that protects its contents from the highest drop will win.

The specs: you can be creative and use any materials you like to design and build your lunar lander.  Use the Canadian Space Agency’s Lunar Resupply Mission for inspiration!

Parent/guardian supervision is recommended.
