CAGIS Chapters (in-person)
CAGIS chapter programs resume in September with monthly adventures to unique locations, exploring STEM with real STEM experts!
CAGIS Halifax is headed to the Museum of Natural History to get a behind-the-scenes tour of their lichen collection, or herbarium, and prepare their own plant specimens to be displayed in the herbarium! CAGIS Kitchener-Waterloo-Cambridge is headed to the Grand River Hospital to explore healthcare technology and test medical devices with a medical device expert!
Other exciting CAGIS chapter events will include Environmental Science with CAGIS Victoria, a city-wide math walk with CAGIS Toronto, and a trip to the Fletcher Wildlife Gardens with CAGIS Ottawa.

CAGIS Virtual (online)
CAGIS Virtual programs resume on September 20 with weekly, live, hands-on STEM sessions for girls and gender-diverse kids and teens, led by STEM experts!
Each week will feature a new, fun, hands-on activity related to a specific STEM topic with supplies you can find at home! Design a canoe with a member of Constance Lake First Nation, build a pendulum that will paint a picture with an engineer, become an expert on bird calls with an ornithologist, code your own games with a technology specialist, and more! Whether you have a specific interest in a STEM topic or would like to explore a variety of STEM fields, CAGIS Virtual will have something for you.
